CFA Program Study App App Reviews

Only accessible to Level 1 candidates despite that this is not stated anywhere on the App page

Keep saying the app is only for registered candidates and not letting me to login. I am a current registered candidate

Great to have all the books on the go. Easy to use, remembers where you left off. Would be good to have ability to change font size.

Font size is ridiculously small with no capability of zooming-in or increasing the font size. Unacceptable.

Every time I open the mock exam/ questions the app crashes

Whats the point? Literally just want study questions on the go and it cant deliver. Forces you to the website and then the app shuts down. Should be rapid question and answer quizzes by study session.

And cannot access Level I books while you are registered for Level II exam.

Cannot change font size. No orientation support. Cannot zoom in or out. Cannot remember last browsed position.

Good start, would be awesome with the addition of horizontal view and resume at last viewing location. Thanks for making the app :)

Good to see the institute come out with an app, it is an improvement over the vital source bookshelf IMHO. While this one is a decent start, there are some features that should be added to enhance the usability/user-friendliness of the app. In the next update please address the following: (1) remember where you left off within a reading, (2) be able to "uncheck" readings, (3) change the font size, or if left in this quasi PDF format, at least allow the user to zoom in as the font size is on the small side, (4) use the app in horizontal mode. Additionally there is a bug where clicking the "next section" brings the user to the END of the next section rather than the beginning. It would obviously be preferable to start at the beginning of the next section.

I dont usually write reviews but this app is so buggy its unusable. When I open the app, I cannot see anything. The menu, ebook titles, subjects, etc..Its all white and blank. This needs a major update fast.

This app more or less connects you to the CFA website through the application itself as a browser. The resolution has not been updated for the iPhone 6 and the app itself is pretty useless.

The app needs 1) a boost in annotation options. 2) tree track of all notes and highlights. 3) be more like an app instead of an app skinned website of CFA. 4) Dynamic and interactive study planner within the books / readings / study sessions. Works fine. Better than nothing really

Great app,I can use spare time to finish some of the MOCK exercises,but don’t understand why we have to log on twice…If I quit when only finishing half of it,the system will not keep the records,that’s something really not convinent.

Cant even open the app.
